This Privacy Policy describes our commitment to protection of data privacy and how we treat the personal data that we collect from users of the FUJIFILM CONNECT application software (“Application”). This Privacy Policy applies to the collection, processing and use of personal data which is processed by downloading, installing and using our App.

This Privacy Policy applies to both FUJIFILM INDIA and its subsidiaries to the extent applicable related to the processing of data under the conditions defined in this Privacy Policy.

2. Collection and Management of Personal Data

2.1. Downloading the Application

When downloading the Application, the necessary information is transferred to the app store, in particular username, e-mail address and customer number of the underlying account, time of download, and Device code. However, we have no influence on this data collection and are not responsible for it.

2.2 Collection of Personal Data

2.2.1 When using the Application, the Application establishes an internet connection and accesses the servers we use to provide the services. When you use the Application, FUJIFILM will collect certain personal data such as followings:

(a) Contact details and your address mentioned while Sign Up;

(b) Information you may provide together with an inquiry.

If you tap the inquiry button in this Application, your personal details will be required such as name, email id, contact no and address.

2.2.3 The Application may have or will be added any functions which allow your Device to open and/or start other applications. Your information provided or collected to such other application will be treated by the privacy policy of such other applications and this Privacy Policy will not be applied to such information.

2.3 Purpose of use of Personal data

We process, store and use your personal data for the following purposes:

(a) For providing services related to this Application;

(b) For responding to your inquiries;

(e) disclosure of your personal data is required by applicable laws and regulations or if we are authorized or required to such disclosure in support of any criminal or other legal investigation or proceeding conducted by relevant authorities; or

We will not disclose or supply, share or otherwise distribute your personal data to third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

2.6 Data Security

FUJIFILM takes adequate technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your personal data from being misused and to prevent the loss of your information. Your personal data is saved in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. All personal data provided by you in the course of registration or use of personalized services will be transferred in encrypted form in order to prevent misuse of it by any third party.

3. Children’s Personal data

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children defined by local laws. We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests.

4. Changes to the Privacy Policy

4.1 FUJIFILM reserves the right to change, amend, or update this Privacy Policy. We will notify the change by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the Application. The revised Privacy Policy shall take effect on the effective date set by the FUJIFILM at the time of notification.

4.2 FUJIFILM may change the name of this Application without any notification. this Privacy Policy shall be effectively applied even if the name of this application is changed.

4.3 FUJIFILM may update this Application at its sole discretion in order to improve the security function, fix the defect, add / change / delete the function, etc; provided, however, FUJIFILM do not guarantee the update of this Application. This Privacy Policy shall be effectively applied even if we update this Application.
